I was wondering....

...why didn't Knux ever recieve a bone marrow transplant? That could have saved his life. And I am sure that his blood type wasn't that rare so a perfect match would have been easy to find....if not his family then from a donor. It's not bad to donate bone marrow, it comes back....and if only some was donated then Knux's body would reproduce the rest.

If I were to wildly speculate, I would guess that there were complications surrounding a bone marrow transplant. Also, do we know that he hasn't?

i am asking because i want to know those answers.....perfect matches from donors usually mean he can have them....and thats what can treat and even cure aplastic anemia. I can understand that he'd die while waiting, however. Many people waiting for donations die before they get help.

I think he mentioned transplants before, but apparently they either didn't go through or didn't do enough repair work.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Transplants doesn't always work. The body can reject the transplant. Then again, I don't know much about bone marrow transplants.

It's also not a surgery to be taken lightly; it would involve extensive recovery time.

I'm sure he and his family did everything they could.

Tikal is correct, bone marrow transplants don't always work. My aunt has leukemia, and if she doesn't get an acceptable bone marrow transplant, she will only live for another year.

It sucks...a lot...
