I know that there are almost no Yugioh! lovers here, but for anyone who likes the show, it comes out in theaters August 13.

(See movie.yugioh.com).

I estimate about twenty minutes of actual action, and an hour of mindless droning on about how evil somebody is, and how the cards don't love them.

And even that I think is an overestimate.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

I can't wait for it to air on cartoon network, so I don't have to look like a nerd to see it in theatres.

I just want to see it, to see HOW they make a movie out of it! (I can't even believe they can make a show out of it, or a comic series, or a toyline)

COMIC SERIES CAME FIRST SEAN!

Then show.
Then cards.
Then clothes.
Then toys.
Then movies.
Then world domination.

I actually want to see it.

Where is the idiot running to? Why to Nintendo Mania of course. Just follow him for the time of your life.

My god, there's a movie?

If somebody wants to take over the world...WHY ARE THEY WASTING THEIR TIME PLAYING A FRIGGIN CARD GAME?!? A 34 year old living in his parents basement could beat the greatest threat to mankind if he tries to do it with a card game. They just really need a base for that franchise...

I already had a low chance of seeing the movie. Although I am watching the show just because I want to see what that card that one guy gave Yugi to defeat the Winged Dragon of Ra is...

actually the pokemon movies were fairly good (when I liked it) except the first, it sucked

but still, it looks stupid

and the card that he plays is a mix between slyfur and obolisk(yes, i watch it when I'm bored) i saw a glimpse of it in the theme

Actually, I believe they're high-school students, not junior-high.

Besides, did you pay attention? That's only the animé. I find the manga pretty good, on a comparison.

On another note, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Japanese pilot episode (which I downloaded a while back but don't have anymore) was the same style as the manga ("shadow games", not cards), and was awesome. That is all.

well, I read some of the manga at a friend's house, all i can say was it was pretty dramatic, so it was better than

"hey, i play down a card, let's waste the 26 minutes remaining with close ups of you pondering over what to do, me making lame ass insults, and then at the end I'll brag about some card that you will end up easily defeating"

and that's basically one whole episode right there

^DUB DUB DUB DUB DUB DUB DUB! In the dub they take out anything that could be dramatic about the show here is a perfect example.
(Dub)
Kaiba: Yugi you could attack my Blue Eyes ultimate Dragon next turn and win this duel. But the resulting shock wave might cause me to lose my balance and I may get seriously hurt. (For those of you who haven't figured it out yet this is in Duelist Kingdom duel on the castle roof between Yugi and Kaiba)
Yugi:...
Kaiba: End your turn unless you have the courage to unleash your attack. (Runs his thumb across his throat
Originally.
Kaiba: Oi, Yugi on the next turn you can attack my Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and win this duel. However in your vistory I will have nothing left to live for and I will hurl myself from the top of this castle. My life is in your hands.
Yugi:...
Kaiba: SLIT MY THROAT WITH YOUR CARDS AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! (Runs thumb across neck.)
