Akira and Yuni are both dancer options that show up in DDR 4th Mix, DDRMAX2 USA, DDR Extreme JP, and DDR Party Collection (JP). According to Konami's web site. Solid Temple Akira (don't ask) is 21 and the Chinese equivalent to James Bond. His partner, Yuni, is 14 (again, don't ask) and is a computer hacker from New York. However, this information is pretty much irrelevant during game play, since all they do is dance.

Night Of Fire is quite possibly the most well-known licensed song in the Bemani series. It has appeared on many of the games and is quite popular. Listen to it yourself and see why Eurobeat is AWESOME.

Once again, another amazing song I've never heard.

I guess the wait was worth it.

Night of Fire is considered by many fans to be the definitive Eurobeat song, but I think there are better ones out there. Maybe I'll put a few up later...

Please do. I looked up Para Para to see what exactly it was, I knew it was Bemani (obviously) but didn't know quite what involved. Learning that it was a popular Japanese dance similar to the macarena crossed with cheerleading, and after watching some videos of people play (like the Para Para Allstars) it looks pretty spiffy. Maybe I'll try it out, if I can find a deal. Though I've never actually seen anyone playing with the controller, just to the music without the controller or the background vid while the arrows go up. Never even seen a pic. But yeah, gimme some good Euro beat.

Actually, Para Para is a derivative of Disco dancing, which makes sense, since Eurobeat is a derivative of Disco as well.
