6th COTD is Exodia. Meh. He's booring.

Yeah. It's exodia...the best exodia piece. NO. This is not a special COTD and we are not reviewing all 5 pieces. Although i was thinking of reviewing Sanga<KazeJin,And Suijinn...but not now.

Pros: Uh...it's the best exodia piece. Sanga And Witch help it.

Cons: Card Destruction. Robbin Goblin.

Combo: MEB+Last Will+Summoned Skull.

I despise exodia.And I'm only reviewing this paticular piece,huh?Ooook.
With below average attack and defense,I reccomend this only if you have the other pieces-even then I don't reccomend it.I hate exodia.It takes way to long to draw the necisary cards.

Now begins MY week to pick COTDs. For this week I have chosen the theme to be cool and interesting effect monsters.

And so I get the huge lug out of the way first: Exodia. Since you can't really rate him by himself, I'm going to rate all 5 pieces.

Now we all know Exodia. In the first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yugi beats Kaiba by combining all five pieces of Exodia and destroying the Blue Eyes. Major difference is that Exodia only has 1000 attack points at best. It's the effect, that wins the game. If you have all five pieces of Exodia IN YOUR HAND, then you win the duel.

Now, you face a number of problems. First, you can have only one of each Exodia piece. One head, one right arm, one left arm, one right leg, and one left leg. There is a good thing though; Exodia is a mega-WEAK monster. Therefore, you can grab him with Witch of the Black Forest and Sangan. Unfortunately, you can have only two Witches and two Sangans to a deck, which only adds up to four. You'll have to get the last one by chance. What about Last Will? Well, Last Will clearly states that it summons them to the field, and the field is surely NOT your hand.

Exodia is playable, but it isn't easy to win with him. Since you need all five pieces, anything that will discard cards will make it a problem. Exodia can take up a lot of space in your hand. Also, if your opponent uses White Magical Hat, Robbin' Goblin, Card Destruction, or anything to discard you cards, Exodia is DEAD. If you have one piece in the graveyard, Exodia is dead still, since Reborn the Monster puts them on the field.

I give Exodia a 1/5. Playable, but not easy to play.

Well, what can you say?

Pros: You got to like a card that says "and you win the game" on it. Played right, this card can be excellent. But it's nigh-impossible to play right.

Cons: 5 pieces means 5 lucky draws, even with BFW and Sangan, since you have to draw them too. You have at best a 5/40 chance of getting one, which does not bode well. Plus, the more you have, the worse your deck gets, because you have 1 less slot for a benificial card and one more for a clunky card that does you no good unless you get lucky. IMO, the Oujia Board of Death is a much better combo then this.

The Ouija Board... better?! Yeah right, Exodia is ten times easier. With the Ouija Board, they can actually SEE that they've got to use their Heavy Storm.
