This is one of the most popular Arcade game ever and its extremely fun. I can only get past Medium stage. My fav song is End of the Century. The game is also available in PS1 and maybe it will come out for PS3 we dont know yet though. I love this game the closest arcade DDR is 20 min away. My fav DDR has got to be DDRUSA its better and i know alot of codes for the arcade game. This game is so popular and i give this a rating of an 10-10.

Have you played it?
Whats your fav song?
whats the farthest stage you can past?
Whats you fav version of DDR?

Have I played it? YES!
Favorite song? Brilliant 2U (Orchestra Groove)
Farthest stage? Maniac on Absolute and B4U, both 8-foot songs.
Favorite version? 5th or 7th mix.

And they will come out for DDRMAX (6th Mix) in November for the PS2.

Are you sure? There's a directory of DDR arcade machine locations at DDRFreak.com.

BTW, I'd give DDR a 20 out of 10.

Cata = 9-foot song (Hardest difficulty).

I've only been able to do 8-footers so far. And my closest machine (a ghetto 3rd + 2nd mix) is about 20-30 minutes away, although for another 25 minutes, I can play Max2.

This game totaly sucks. Not only is the music absolute garbage so is the gameplay. Don't even tell me you guys play this game with a controller. If you don't have that stupid pad thing there is absolutely no reason to play this game.

To say that there are this many people that follow such a stupid game makes me sad to be a human being. It just goes to show you that people are stupid and will buy anything.

Yes, I have played it and regret every nanosecond of it. It leaves me to ask "WHY?"

^ Hmmmm... I'll have to agree with you on the music part. There are only like 5 or 6 that I really like. The others are just ho-hum or fruity J-pop songs... and playing with a normal controller is too easy.

I love DDR. I can't wait till 7th mix comes out in America, and I currently play KonamiX the most.

The hardest songs I can do on KonamiX: Dead End (Maniac)
Orion 7.6 (Maniac)
And that's about all I can think of right now.

My fav. is B4U and Drop the Bomb both on maniac.

I can almost beat Drop Out but its so damn fast.

Edit: I love the songs. Many of them are actual songs, that I have heard on the radio.

^^ Cocksucker.

^^ 7th mix is in America. I know of several arcades that have it. It's partly Japanese... but it's still cool. And Orion .78 is one of those fruity J-pop sounding songs I detest... But, oh well. And some DDR songs are remixes of popular songs. What DDR songs have you heard on the radio BM?

Thanks for respecting my opinion "PenguinMan should be doing homework". I came back expecting to have 20 or so Konami/DDR freaks bashing me with mysterious falling cranes.

Oh' that's write cranes drop thing like I-beams they don't drop, oh, lets say cranes.

All Pop, Rap and almost every sort of popular music is horrid. It's what the music industry succeeds in shoving down our throats. It is mostly talent less crap that can't be recreated well on stage. Of course this is once again my twisted distorted opinion shining through once again. If there was a DDR based on good Metal/Rock bands(not garbage like Slip Knott and Mushroom Head) I might actually think about buying such a game. I would like to see how they would make dancing a part of this game since most people follow no particular pattern and primarily head bang and mosh in the pit at a live show. Oh, wait a minute no one really dances at a live pop show either. Raves are for Ecstasy/(insert hallucinate drug here)that care nothing about anyone.

Most of you will think who is this guy to talk.
Some of the biggest rock stars died from drug overdose.(The recently departed great Layne Stanley, That tard from Drowning Pool, and the of course I can't leave off the most over rated grunge superstar Kurt Cobain"). Some will think that I'm some metal loving pot smoking hippie. To tell you the truth I just don't like the fake sound of today’s music. It uninspiring, fake, poorly written, and sadly hardly music in manny cases. Still like mindless zombies we will give these people our hard urned money, and for what because everyone else does, because the music industry/MTV told us to. Yet we let the hard working, poor, unsuccessful rock star achieve nothing for being a poet and a well trained and talented musicion. Not some anorexic chic that has someone else write her music and computers generate the melody. Not some Boy band that relies on nothing more than looks and dancing and once again someone else to write there music and CG sounds.

As I have waisted my time trying to convince people that its not me thats crazy. I'm going to sleap now.

I see 20 or more mysteriously falling cranes coming my way.

Thank you very much. That is much more tolerable than your first post. It just makes me think you're another idiotic n00b (not to be confused with a newbie) when you say you don't like something and don't give any reason. Still, if you don't like DDR, WHY DID YOU EVEN BOTHER TO READ A TOPIC MARKED "DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION" FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?!? Sorry about that.
