Nice. There are many advantages to this card. Erm...Cons and pros anyone? Pros:Flip a coin,if you call it right destroy 1 monster on the field. 2600 attack power. Cons:2 Tributes. Relies on a coin flip. I'm exhausted. Just...think about this card. 3.8 out of 5. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | It was planned to be on Friday. Quite appropriate, isn't it? If you've seen the most recent episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh!, you'll have seen that Bandit Keith used the Barrel Dragon against Joey. In Japan it was called the Revolver Dragon, so they didn't really do a bad dub this time. The only thing is that machine monsters AREN'T resistant to magic attacks, but it still has it's up-sides. Namely, 2600 attack power. Bandit Keith even brags about it. It's two sacrifices, same as Blue Eyes White Dragon. Why not go for the big bad Blue Eyes? Barrel Dragon isn't even a dragon subtype, so it can't be brought out by a Flute of Dragon Summon (or is it Horn? I'm getting these English and Japanese names mixed up). Like all the other monsters this week, it has an effect. And boy, does this monster HAVE AN EFFECT! Flip 3 coins, and if two of them are heads, you automatically destroy one monster. This is exactly a 50/50 chance of destroying a monster. That way, a Barrel Dragon can destroy up to two monsters per turn. That's quite a lot. The effect is like a Russian Roulette... for THEIR monsters! Bwahahahaha! Lastly, it's a Dark Monster, so do all your normal power-ups and you've got a real competitor. 4/5 to one of the best mons in the game! In the future it'll have even more cards that'll help it, including a magic card that lets you negate a flip and FLIP IT AGAIN! |

Barrel Dragon Pros: Can destroy 2 monsters in 1 turn 66% chance of destroying 1 monsters 2600 ATK is pretty good Cons: It costs two tributes Effect relys on a coin flip Can't use Flute of Summoning Dragon Barrel Dragon is a pretty good card. Let's say your opponent has 1 monster on the field. If can successfully destroy it, you can inflict major direct damage to your opponent! One of my favs. Combos: Barrel Dragon + 7 Card Not yet released in America but increases Barrel Dragon's ATK to 3300! Rating 4/5 [ September 09, 2002, 07:55 PM: Message edited by: Yami Yoshi ] |
