Yarr. We're reviewing a wabokuish card of Yugi's,if you watch the Yugi Vs Kaiba on top of pegasus castle, then you'll see this thing appear in part 2 of the duel. Anyway in the release of later expansions and sets you will be able to multiply kuriboh. So there are things you can do for it....WHAT?!?!? YOU WANT A PICTURE OF IT?!?!? FINE!

...Meh. Alright this card reads....Discard this card from your hand to the Graveyard to make the damage inflicted to your Life Points by 1 opponent's monster 0. This effect must be activated during your opponent's Battle Phase. But now....there are already problems for this card. Because we already have one that can be countered but is much better for a sole reason. Waboku! Cons and pros.

Pros:...Prevent ONE monster from attacking.

Cons:..It only targets one monster. Waboku stops all. Waboku can be countered. This can't. You will never find yourself using this.

Maybe. If you're lucky you'll find a half decent combo with this card. 2/3. First card of the day for andross theme:Sucky Tribute Monsters No One Uses Or Needs. And Sucky Fusions.

Ok, I'm resigning as a reviewer because I don't have the time to do it anymore. Somebody else who's here more often deserve it more.

GL, you have almost everyone that comes here except about 3 people (some celebi person, ToadyKing, and Shadow Girl).

Kuribo! Freaky, I was GOING to pick Kuribo, but let's do the review.

Yugi has, to date, used Kuribo three times. The first time Yugi placed it on the field during the Weevil duel. It was attacked by some worm and exploded into fur (which was pretty cool). Unfortunately, they had taken this part out, and cut the Weevil duel into only one episode. If you go to the official site, go to the secret place (password given in the show), then you'll find a clip. Yugi has also used it against Kaiba, in which he combined it with the card Multiply to defend against Kaiba's Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. And then his most recent duel with Mai, he used it as tribue for the Black Luster (Chaos) Ritual. Rituals work by giving a required number of monsters to sacrifice and a number the levels must add up to (which just so happens to be the level of the monster that gets brought from the Ritual). That makes Black Luster (Chaos) Soldier a Level 7. We'll get into that more when we get Ritual Cards in America and we do a CoTD.

So, the all famouse KURIBO. You can place it down to guard your life points, that's okay. You can also keep it in your hand and summon a different monster, so if your opponent attacks that monster, you can stop that ONE attack with Kuribo. Unlike Waboku, who affects the whole battle step, Kuribo stops one attack. So go for Waboku instead for this case.

Multiply is not in America. Even worse, when it does come out, it will be a promotional, so quite effectively either rare or expensive. The little kids will definitely find it all the rage since Multiply works so effectively against the most powerful (allowed) monster in the game. For up to five turns, at least. Multiply just fills up the empty spaces of your field with Kuribo tokens. That means you don't get a new Kuribo per second. You get up to five. This works for a few turns and works great in a stall deck and is good for buying time. Just hope a Raigeki isn't drawn. I will have to confirm this, but if you shoot off the Kuribo tokens with a Cannon Soldier than you reduce quite a lot of life points. Tokens cannot be tributed for monsters, though, so I have my doubts if this is allowed.

Have fun with the weaker Waboku if you wish. If you are running a stall deck and already have 3 Wabokus and want to stall more, these little guys wouldn't hurt.

2/5 Pretty much useless now, but it shows potential.

Kuriboh

Pros: -Can prevent LP damage
-Can't be countered
Cons: -Very poor stats
-Only prevents damage from one attack

Personally, I think this card isn't that good. Waboku can prevent damage from all opposing monsters for one turn while Kuriboh only prevents damage from one. This card will become for useful when they release multiply here in the U.S.

Rating: 1.5/5

Was that good GL?

^60 Kuriboh? The standard monster limit is 3 of one monster per deck. So basically your deck is just not rule legal yet.
