Then allow me to explain the card.

Relinquished

Card Text:
Dark/Spellcaster-Ritual/1/0/0
Effect: This monster can take on the ATK and DEF of 1 opponent's monster on the field (a face-down monster results in an ATK and DEF of 0). Treat the selected monster as an Equip Magic Card and use it to equip "Relinquished." You may use this effect only once per turn and can equip Relinquished with only 1 monster at a time. When your opponent's monster attacks this monster with an ATK higher than Relinquished, the equipped monster is destroyed instead of Relinquished. Any Life Point damage you recieve from the attacking monster while Relinquished is equipped is also inflicted on your opponent.

Pros:
Can't be Trap Holed
Can capture your opponent's best monsters

Cons:
Weakest stats in the game
Requires a Ritual Magic Card

Those idiots at Upper Deck HAD to make a freaking long description. It's nearly impossible to read. This card is slightly above average in my opinion. Though it sounds threatening, there are still many ways to stop it.

Combos:
None

Rating: 3.5/5

Hey GL! Is it my week next week?

DAMNIT. I can't find the topic I did this HUGE review for Relinquished is!!!!

Okay........

I will have to do it ALL over again.....

Relinquished (Sacrifice) is quite an interesting card. By now, we should know that this it Pegasus's card, and quite freaky at that. Now the way the eye-head moved was just not right, if you looked at it a while...

Anyway, Relinquished has the most interesting effect. It can take any monster your opponent has and change it's 0 atk and 0 def stats into those of that monster, making it an equipment card. It can do that once per turn. Even further, once Relinquished is attacked, if there is an monster equipped on Relinquished, the monster gets destroyed rather than Relinquished. Lastly, when Relinquished is attacked, BOTH players lose life points. This is the ultimate piss off your opponent card.

In later sets will come a card called Wicked God of a Thousand Eyes (Thousand Eyes Evil Cult God). You can fuse this with Relinquished with it to get Thousand Eyes Restrict (Thousand Eyes Sacrifice, this American name I abhor most greatly). Thousand Eyes Restrict is even WORSE for your opponent, since it freezes any monster other than itself (of course, it effects your monsters too...). They won't be able to change their modes. It's like a Swords of Revealing Light that doesn't reveal face-down monsters! Might be interesting to combo with Exodia since it'd be quite a stall card.

One problem: Ritual. Magic Jammer kills it off. This can be bypassed with the Heavy Storm, classic anti-Magic Jammer. Use Heavy Storm, and if they have anything valuable, they use Magic Jammer. Thus it has been used and you can go off and summon Relinquished. Unless, of course, they were trying to protect either a Dark Hole or a Raigeki, in which case it would suck to see your Relinquished destroyed.

3/5

*Looks at Relinquished pic* ...

*Loud scream* IT'S TERRIFYING!!!!

Pros:Basicly everything besides that fact that it could scare small children-Oh, and me, too. XD

Cons:Magic Jammer directed at Black Illusions Ritual(or whatever the hell it's called), Fissure and it's the first to go, Change of Heart could give you hell.

4/5 (-1 point for hideousness ~_^)
