Bah these days almost anything on American TV is cut or edited. Thats why i get DvDs to experience the full glory of all that is uncut and unedited.

Well, not really. Al Hayfever is a character I made up years ago based off my day camp medical info. I use him in stories & when I need a fake name for something real.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Hmmmm... hard to say, actually. They've done some things good and some things bad. Here's a quick breakdown...

Good stuff:
-The dub voices. This is seriously one of the best dubs I've heard in a while, and that's saying a lot. I especially wanna give a round of applause to whoever does Yami Bakura - I haven't heard an evil chuckle like that in FOREVER.

-The music vids. Okay, so they may have cut short a couple duels, but putting that music in there is so cool IMHO that it makes up for it. I especially like the ones during the duel with Panik and Kaiba's little get-revenge-on-Pegasus one.

-The name changes - FOR THE MOST PART. Most of the names they mess with still fit the characters, so I can forgive them. I'm at a loss as to _why_ exactly they changed a few - the worse so far is Ryouji Otogi to Duke Devlin, but I suspect they did that so that puns on his name would make sense in the english. I'm completely clueless as to why they went from Isis Ishtar to Ishuzu Ishtar... but at least it's close enough.

Bad stuff:
-Editing out lines. Um, when Kaiba was up on the rooftop it's pretty obvious what he was doing, and I don't think there's THAT much of a difference between "the shockwave might knock me off" and "I'll step off the edge," do you?

-Editing out the guns. Everyone's threatening everyone else with pointing fingers. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. We believe you. Although it did make Yami Bakura's "Or what?" line all that more amusing...

-...I am going to go on a rampage if they actually change Malik's name to Terrance. _TERRANCE_? Where in all creation did THAT come from?!? It begets a completely different characterization than Malik... the cool thing about his name is that it implies a kind of innocent malignance. "Terrance" just implies a kind of idiotic jerkazoid. At least in my opinion.

Now that I'm done ranting... there's my opinion. Whew.
