Are the Egyption God Cards Cheap?

After reading some of the translations, these cards can easily defeat your opponent. They will probably restrict them from tournaments no doubt.

I never saw any of the god cards but the one that recently appeared on the TV show (Obilisk the tormenter) had 4000 atk which is your definition of cheap tooken to a whole new level.

They actually kind of are. Ra can set a huge amount of cheapness. 3 effects and I believe one of them is the abilty to destroy all of your opponent's monsters on the field.

Yes, they are banned from tournaments, being the only cards that are not prestricted or restricted, but "forbidden".

Probably good for when you play your friends for cards and you whip one out. Probably only use it once in this scenario.
