March 1969 Kagemasa Kozuki (current chairman of the board and chief executive officer) founds a jukebox rental/repair business in Osaka.


March 1973 Konami Industries Co., Ltd. (current Konami Co., Ltd.), is established and starts manufacturing amusement machines.


January 1978 Konami's first game machine using a microcomputer is produced; manufacture and sales begin.
