Who does he think he is announcing that Sonia Belmont doesn't exist? Now he put Leon Belmont as the first Belmont. What nerve.. you know just because you make 2 good Castlevania games (SOTN, AoS) and 1 crap one (HoD) doesn't mean you can grab the Castlevania timeline by the balls and say what goes where.
I'd like a future producer of a 'vania game to say that LoI and Leon Belmont doesn't exist.
Sonia Belmont is very fitting to be the 1st Belmont i say.

And further more, why does every Belmont ever since SOTN have to have that 1700esque wardrobe with the pail face, pirate looking boots, and that huge coat? I'd like them to go back to the barbarian type wardrobe one's we've all grown familiar too like Simon (the original asskicker), Christopher, and Trevor had.
