Shoes you DDR in?

I got this idea from DDR Freak. What shoes do you wear when DDR'ing? I wear Black Chuck Taylor Converse All Stars.

Rubbery sandals, the kind you wear to the beach.
1. They're very good for fast jumps, because they're rubbery and bouncy.
2. Lightweight. Less weight on my feet to slow me down.
3. Non-slip. I don't want to fall off the pad and get hurt. Even worse, that would break my combo.

On soft pads, just socks.

At an arcade, my usual athletic shoes, although I have a pair of dress shoes that I might want to use. It might help me spin on one foot better. (I'm more a freestyler.)

At arcades, I use my regular shoes.

Advice: NEVER use sandals with straps. These come apart too easily, leaving you DDR-ing in your bare feet.

^ It all depends on the type of strap. Velcro straps shouldn't come apart, unless you didn't fasten them on correctly in the first place.

Yeah, I'm obsessed with DDR.

I never wear socks on the soft pads, because I slipped and fell once. I usually just wear my regular shoes when I go to the arcade though.

I wear my Etnies Vallelys..they kick ass..they're easy to DDR in, too, because I got them a bit big, and they slide around..a bit smoother.
