Suikoden III *possible spoilers!*

Watch this get buried under a gakillion "omg I gots tese cards nw i can mary yugi" topics.

I bought it yesterday, and it's pretty cool. I haven't got far, though. A lot of the character designs are awesome, and it's refreshingly unique. The graphics aren't great, but they're fine.

I mean, there's a village of Duck People called "DUCK VILLAGE" and there's a duck in your party named Sargeant Joe who wears a helmet and wields a huge halberd. How is this NOT awesome? Come on.

I'm not very far, I started with Hugo's story and I just got chased out of some capital by some knight guys.

Well, last night I beat Hugo chapter one. Poor Lulu. I thought he'd be one of those deals where he looked dead but was still alive, but no... blah. I'm probably going to do Geddoe's chapter 1 now, but I have a questio.n Is it best to do each character one chapter at a time(like do Hugo, then Geddoe, then Chris, then Hugo again, etc.) or should I keep playing with one guy?

if this topic doesn't do well here, I'll just repost it in the RPG forum...

I would do each chapter one at a time. Although they don't really run concurrently (for example, Geddoe's chapter doesn't necessarily take place at the exact same time as Chris'), I think you'll be exposed to the story better that way. If you end up wanting to do each character's chapters first though, I'd suggest going with Hugo (for reasons I won't discuss).

You're right, this would probably get a lot more attention in the RPG forum. Shall I move it?

Yeah, go ahead and move it. Thanks. I already started on Geddoe's chapter. I thought his crew would be boring... but they're pretty funny. Especially Joker and Ace arguing all the time.
