I just read the EGM feature on SOCOM, and man does it look sweet. Especially for my cable modem and my wallet.
Anybody have any comments about it so far? Personally, I'm going to fall in love with this game if I can get a good feel for the controls, which is (unfortunately) a recurring issue with me and FPS games. However, this game is too good to pass on.

It looks good but i don't have a cable modem and there is no dial up support. So it will cost me $40-50(plus instalation) a month for broad band,$50 for the game and $40 for the network adapter. So i would rather buy 2 new games and a used one for $140.

I got the EGM too and it looks so SWEET! This game is gonna rock!

I read the feature too, and the game looks amazing.
August is a while away, but i cant wait. The way the article described the realistic features of the game just made me drool.
and the fact that theres no monthly fees makes it all the more sweeter.
this game is gonna own all.

It looks really promising, but unfortunatly I am in the same situation as Fu-man-chop. Not enough money to suport this type of gaming on my own funds.

Did anyone check out the Behind the scenes disc included in the OPM #56 Jampack disc?
I heard it was pretty cool, but hopefully, its different then the one being included with the game.
