Hey guys.
I finally played the Demo for Socom - US navy seals,so, here are my impressions.

First off, the graphics caught my eye..the intro sequence looked REALLY smooth, and you could notice a lot of details even though it was all snow.
The way they did the graphics, how the horizon faded and how far you could see was perfectly done.
So, you couldnt easily kill enemies from afar, but not so bad that you would die without spotting the enemy.

The mission in the demo is set in Alaska, a snowy mountain place, with cabins and trees scattered throughout the area.
You have a mission, like in this case, retreiving a laptop before the terrorists erase the info on it, and that mission is split into smaller missions so you dont get lost, such as securing a cabin, rescuing someone. Its all very nicely done...you can go your own way, or follow the path they give you to the dot.

Skill wise, Its kinda hard, i'm still trying to beat the first mission, and get used to the controls.
The thing that caught my eye the most about this game is that you could switch out between the 1st and third person views, and still play the game without feeling as if you're missing out on something cause of the view you're in.

Theres no headset yet, so it was kinda annoying to order around the rest of the team.

The first mission is prettyhey, cool..you get like , the MGS feel at some points when sneaking around, then it changes suddenly..Its just really fun.

Woah, thats a lot of typing..but, yea..anyone else who played the demo post your impressions also

why not?
I mean, its overall a lot cheaper then i expected to be..No monthly fees..just 100 dollars for the game, headset, the adapter..its a great deal.
Besides, if you dont get in on the ground floor, you might regret it later..
Just my opinion..i'm getting both socom and the adapter the first day it comes out.
