It's in one of the latter stages of the final Xenams fight, if he grabs Sora you gain controll of Riku. you then have to get to Xenams fairly quickly or he'll drain all of Sora's heath, and given that Riku can't use items and that you have to deal with Xenams copos this gets rather old really fast.

Yeah that part was also annoying but the part I'm referring to comes after that stage.

Ah well sometime when you have time enough to waste you should give them a second playthough and take time to get a better look at the story and such. Heh pay close enough attention and you'll spot some real plotholes around the whole nobody thing.

Plotholes? Like what? I'm still familiar enough with KH to grasp it.

Well the whole how the hell roxas and namine came into being for one. Also the whole why would nobodies pretend to have emotions for two. How nobodies have bodies and heartless have hearts. for a more indetale look check out the It Just bugs mes entry for kingdome hearts.

Back to the Sonic RPG I wonder just how dark they plan to make it even if they do up the rating to Teen?

So I did, hmm he guess I'll run with it. On this issue of adding darker themes, given how long it has been of the more light hearted fair.

Mario might jsut MIGHT be able to scrape by with some more mature tones provided they handle it properly, and keep the over all spirt of the Mario franchise.

As for Zelda well I'm surprized that they haven't tried to make it darker for some time now, though Wind Waker's back story was a nice change of pace. To me the Zelda games have always been abit more mature in theme as compaired to Mario and Sonic.

Red face Huh...

Sonic can do mature subjects far more realistically than Mario. They'd have to totally revamp and ditch most of Mario's core. As for Zelda, I like the lighthearted themes of Wind Waker & Hourglass...however, for the rest of Zelda, they need to take a page from God of War: Bloody fights ÷ bonin' down Zelda = Billions of dollars. Literally. Or maybe just "billion", singular...

You're right Mario is a bit of an odd case when it comes to mature subjects but if the proceeded carefully it could be done.

I thought that Wind Waker had a bit of a darker tone what with the semi doomsday that befalls Hyrule causing the whole water world situation and the whole lack of a real hero untill Link's appearnce and even then Link was for the most part pretty reluctent about the whole coming of age bit. I don't know if copy pasting ideas from god of war would work in the zelda 'veres as they have rather diffrent methods of story telling though it could easly be made more mature if they made Gannon more of a real evil overlord then just a vage threat.

As for sonic, well from what I know the last time they tried darker and edgier was Shadow the Hedgehog and that game gathers a lot of hate. that doesn't mean they couldn't make a mature sonic game though, it just means they have to be more carefull when they try it.

Well, technically it can be done with Mario. And I mean take a page from GoW, not replace Kratos with Link. Shadow as a game failed, though it was edgy, showing it can be done.
