Please Help, being slaughted on .hack...

....Mutation, (Spoilers below)

I'm up to Magnus(Sp?), he uses that Death and Rebirth, and it doesn't appear to rebirth me. Infact, we all seem to die. Can anyone give me pointers on what to do, and how to survive The D & R?

Sorry, I played mutation forever and a day ago so I don't know which boss that is, but on most of them I just bought a bunch of recovery items, had a party of two heavy blades/blademasters, and then just stayed back and healed them.

OOOOOOH, the one that drops all those leaf-like objects? Well first get a good high leveled wavemaster with rip maen and ola repth preferably, and constantly have them on First Aid, then direct a blademaster/heavy blade to attack the main body of the boss(you'll have to keep directing the character to do it, they begin attacking the leaves eventually) and then you worry about the things he drops. If you destroy them in order they shoudln't have time to reach 0 and that means he won't use those god forsaken abilities.

And if I'm totally on the wrong boss, my apologies.

Yay, I deaded him, I don't think I needed the wavemaster, but he kind of helped. I've also just killed that thing in the ghost town too.

Now I just have to wait till Part Three is released.
