...apparently, the square button on the up-and-coming PSP handheld is put together differently from the others; the layout of the handheld had it too close to the screen, so they changed the button's design, slinging the guts off to the side. The drawback is, the new-and-improved square button is apparently less responsive, and prone to stick. (0.6 percent of the PSPs already sold in Japan have been returned because of the defect.)

In short, PSP will be a little buggy. And, if they do fix it before release, we can probably expect them to push it back at least a few months.

(Read the whole story here. And try not to laugh too hard at the designers' assertion that the PSP is the 'most beautiful thing in the world'.)

That sucks. Hopefully it will be a quick fix and won't push back the release date that much, if any.

And yes, "TaroSH" and "New Generation Reploid Axl" are both me. For the longest time I only used "CodieKitty", but some topic occured and I wound up registering six new names (only five of which I actually use. The sixth was mostly a joke). And lately I've been using those names all the time, alternatingly. I don't use CodieKitty much anymore, because it's local, and I started going to another EZboard.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

That's an interesting story. I can't believe that happened...
