Advice, please...

Okay. I've been a Nintendo fanboy all my life, but recently I'd decided that it's about time I branched off. Microsoft holds no interest for me...I don't like sports games, racing games, or most first-person shooters, and there's not nearly enough games that I would like for it. However, I think I'd like something from Sony more because a) I'm a big fan of fantasy games, RPGs, and the like and b) my friend is going to kill me soon if I don't play the Final Fantasy games. Anyway, with that in mind, I've reached somewhat of a dillemma...do I get a PS2 now for cheap or wait for the PS3 and pay much more money? Pretty much all of the games I want are for the PS2 (the .hack// series, FF, and Katomari Damacy, to name a few), but what if something comes out for the PS3 that I really want? I haven't really seen anything yet, but there's no way I'm buying two systems...

Well, from what I've heard the PS3 is coming out next spring.... question is can you wait that long?

Personaly, If my PS2 broke down now, I would wait. But bear in mind the PS3 will have a big price tag on it. So it depends if you want to wait and save, or get a cheapy PS2, and wait for the PS3 comes down in price.

Yes, I don't help matters really.
