I had what amounts to a one use ability and I used it last night in case I was killed.

The sweet part? It can't be stopped. Even if I'm killed, it'll still be out there doing it's thing until the end of the game. In the long run, it should make things easier for the townies.

CASE BUILDING HOORAH! THIS IS THE TOWER OF SKEPTICISM!

SD claims to be a Pro-Town Lyncher. At first I believed this ridiculous claim because I am a pro-town independent, but with more thinking I realized that SD's claim makes less sense. I am pro-town independent but my win condition is Town. SD has claimed to have a Lyncher win condition. IE, a Non-town win condition. What?

SD claims that she know her target is mafia ON DAY ONE:

Also note that she does not give her target on day one.

On Day 2 SD goes against what she originally says and says she just got information that Boo, Who shes claims on day two is her lynch target, is mafia. She now claims that she did not in fact know that Boo was mafia on day one, despite this :

She does this in the most roundabout way possible and keeps us strung along for 3 pages or so before saying that she "asked Wyborn if Boo was mafia". Does that sound like a Cop-claim to You? It sure does to me. Also, she was pretending to be burned this entire time.

So now SD is claiming she is a lyncher who learned her targets alignment on day two despite claiming she knew it on day one, and can also can investigate people. I ask you this: Why the hell would a Lyncher also be a cop?

If the lyncher is independent, Why would he need to know alignment? All the lyncher wants is the lynch his target. If the lyncher is Pro-town which I would like to remind you makes no sense, why would one of our most valuable roles go away as soon as SD fulfills her win condition?

Then SD reveals herself not to be burned.

TL;DR:

SD has lied about knowing the nature of her Lynchee, Being burned, and been unnecessarily cryptic. Her hesitative nature about revealing her target when she had already claimed lyncher and about explaining anything she does implies to me she could very well be a gutsy mafia, and If not it sure as hell leads me to believe she is lying about being pro-town and knowing Boo is mafia. I guess its possible Boo is mafia, But I sure as hell Doubt SD actually knows that.

Okay my current standings tonight are against Boo:

I'm sorry man; I honestly do not know anything about your role or alignment. I hate to lynch you so early because this is your first time playing, but I think your death will solve a lot of problems:

If boo is townie: SD can be implied as Mafia or Insane Investigator. The first case can't be good, the second isn't that great either, so if we hung her the next day not much would be lost.

If boo is mafia: SD can be lyncher and win, proving to be 'pro-town'. This takes out a bad guy for us if she wins. SD pretty much can't be Mafia if she isn't lyncher. If they trashed one of their mafia brothers first thing in the game, well... I can't imagine that besides being absolutely foolish.

But outside of the game Boo, I'm sorry for helping taking away the fun of this game from you so early.

And now I'm going to bed, good night all.

It's past midnight so I am going to bed but I am keeping both my vote and my support exactly where I have laid them. I'm pretty sure Boo is mafia and I'm pretty sure SD knows what she is talking about. Since when has not lynching mafia been good for us? Think about that as I sleep.

I still have my burned candidates list. I'm not sure I'll be posting it anymore if people are so paranoid over revealing anything. I'll just say that, unlike what happened in Round Two, being burned isn't exactly a black box. Everyone here can do word counts; it's not a night-time ability, for cripes sakes! The only difference about making it public is that other people don't have to do the footwork... and let's face it; the Mafia really only has to look at one person's posts to see if they're abiding by the limitation. They only have to look elsewhere if that person ever hits 16... And considering that the victim wouldn't know to keep his count 15 or less if he didn't get hit, that's usually going to come out.

And let's not forget that the Mafia can easily burn themselves -- like Wy did with his Fear Gaze -- to make them look Town. We just have one key difference here; we know whomever was burned was Town.

Unless you're suggesting everyone limit their posts to 15 words to keep anyone from knowing anything, SD and HotD, I want to know exactly what you're trying to protect here. Kargath? The only thing you've done by dragging out your fake burning is (1) kept the Town from knowing someone who is certainly Town, and (2) kept the Mafia from possibly knowing if there was a bus driver or redirect ability or something (i.e., if their burning could get moved). That seems a heavy gamble.

You've been keeping knowledge of Townspeople from Townspeople. In all honesty, the main reason the Town WON the Mini-Mafia game is because we put information on the table.
