No one is pushing a vote yet, its called suspicion voting. Actually I have no idea what its called, but thats probably a good name.

An early lynched member might tell you more than you ever wanted to know. Follow me here...

SO... if you manage to cast enough suspicion upon a person and garner the votes needed, what happens "tomorrow" IF they turn up as OUR HERO on the first lynch?... then HOW are you going to explain your actions? Why would you even risk something like that this soon? Even if you're a misguided Townie... and you stick to your decision... you cost us other Townies unnecessary time in focusing time upon what and why and HOW the next day if you lynch a Townie straight away.
What if we lynch a hero the second day? The Third? What if the Hero is killed at night? A lynch is a lynch, theres no difference between a day one lynch and a day two lynch, except how easy it is to find mafia.

Do you understand what I'm trying to say here?

If you wait a little while and start working some things out, I could understand this a bit better... maybe. But right now, I feel... BAH!!!! I feel all suspicious and paranoid of everyone. I don't know a single role except my own and it's a strange feeling to begin another game not knowing anyone else's alignment again.
Thats fine, as long as its not till day 2.

Possible megapost to come in a while, but I'm taking a self-enforced break for an hour or two to do housework and continue my database self-training.

UnFOS: Chunky (It has come to my attention he later knows how to spell my name correctly)

I have no objections to voting off evil. None whatsoever.

I just want to believe the reasons I'm voting off a member is because I truly think them to be evil. I would have thought all Townies would want that, TG. Instead... I'm already left wondering, are some "Townies" helping the Mafia by confusing the game really early on? Are those "Townies" actually Independents with the option to help the evil in our midst?

I'm winning? GO ME!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY ...I am so ditzy, I didn't even realise this...

...BTW... YOU ARE VERY SUSPICIOUS, ESSDEE.

We've got some serious, weird issues going on here people. Oy... how I don't miss Day One.

Look, there are obviously two strategies here. We lynch Day One or we don't. I frankly don't know which one is better mathematically. I'm not even sure I could calculate the odds at this point without knowing how many Independents there are, what roles exist, &c. &c.

I will tell you that, from the research I've gathered by looking at other games, other games -- played by people who've been playing -- usually start with a Day One-lynch. Why? I don't know. Presumably because it's better odds, but maybe not. Maybe they just want something to happen. *shrugs* Be that as it may, if I should happen to vote my conscience and be wrong, that happens... and that's almost certainly going to happen some day.

I don't think people here who are pro-lynch are necessarily Mafia... nor do I think people who are pro-lynch are necessarily Town. The same is true with anti-lynch supporters. I understand both philosophies here.

We've got two schools of thought. You're not going to agree with one another. Let's stop yelling at one another and get to work, ¿comprendéis?

Mr. Wyborn, my day-kill ability should have worked on SK, right? Why isn't it working?

I think we should take full advantage of the discussion time we have now. Random lynchings might get a mafia member, but what if it's a townsperson? We should learn more about the situation and what people can do before we lynch.

I know I wouldn't want to vote without making an educated guess.

Nolynch is bad because its basically starting day 2 no better informed then day one with one townie missing, if the mafia is smart. Sure, theres power roles, but they have to claim to get this out in the open.

TG... *sigh* I'll just say I don't agree with that reasoning. I believe you can start Day Two in just as good or bad position whether we've killed someone, or not.

Yes, but you leave it up to the mafia. And roleclaims.

How's this for a conversation starter:
My role has informed me that there's a thief in our game. No clue if they're good bad or somewhere inbetween, but there you go.

What about that Arson thing that occurred last night? It would seem Armo-Gohma or whatever would be the most likely candidate. Unless it's a common enemy of some sort.
