Before anyone jumps to the wrong conclussion, or goddesses forbid, I'm killed and lose this opportunity to actually talk, I just want to come out an say that independants aren't nessesarily bad. They're just an unknown factor. There was a lot of talk in the second game that independant=bad.
While that can be true, they can also be harmless or even helpful.

Take Blake from the last game. He could have coexisted with both the town and the mafia, depending on how he wanted to play.

And before anyone asks, no I'm not an independant. That was just something I kinda wished I could have said something about last game.

^That's true, but you never know what plans they have for themselves. CucooLady's victory conditions Round Two conflicted with the Townie's and the Mafia's goals.

In contrast, Blake Round Two could've done anything once he reached his Victory conditions. His goal didn't directly conflict with anyone elses. He had a choice.

By the way, I did want to second Cravdraa's post earlier about Independents. Sure, some independents are directly contrary to the Town's goals, but not always. If nothing else, Independents count towards our total against the Mafia because the Mafia wins when the non-Mafia holds a majority.

Unless it boils down to a conflict of interests (as it was with CuccoLady), we shouldn't be overly trigger happy with Independents... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't harbour scepticism towards them if we find them.

I left for about three hours and already this topic has grown by three more pages. I was really hoping not to end up with another 40 page Day 1 this time. I'm also hoping not to lynch one of our own like we did on day 1 last time too. The truth is without any abilities or items having been used it's really hard to get a reading on anyone the first day. We can go around pointing fingers as much as we want but until we have some form of evidence it's all moot point. With that said and done.....
