Even so, what was the purpose? You could have easily just stated that Blake's role was what it was, rather then claim to be cop. Whatever, this day is almost over, and it'd be best to actually get somewhere.

Please tell what more Blake has done to look suspicious than talking in circles. I don't see how he could in any way be considered 'way off' compared to ian, who has admitted to being a Lyncher, lied about being a cop, falsified an investigation result, and basically made the cop claim. (not doing so would be pretty stupid) The fact that ian hasn't been lynched yet is ridiculous.

Are you even thinking? IAN HAS ADMITTED TO BEING A LYNCHER. That's the purpose. He doesn't care whether Blake is a townie or mafia (and I'm almost certain Blake is town), all he cares about is getting Blake lynched, since that's his win condition. He didn't know Blake's role until Blake himself claimed. Getting somewhere != lynching a townie.

This is why:

I needed Blake lynched, and went with the quick way. Make up something about being a cop and that Blake is mafia. People then wanted a role claim, and to make sure I didn't have to deal with any counter claims, I took my role and added an ability. Didn't go over very well, but if I had claimed town I'd either have been lynched as mafia or discredited as either insane, paranoid or random.(And Blake would survive)

argh you guys are making it really hard on me on who to confirm.

But for now, I'm sticking with my Blake vote. If there isn't a good consensus and time's running out, think about flipping your votes to make a consensus unless you have an extremely good reason not to. I'm taking off for a while now.
