VGF Practice Mafia - Day 2 (starts page 13) - Page 6

Wild guessing here... DT was the Mafia and SP was the Townie.

Reasoning: Gut mostly, but also I see how he reacted to the death of the cop, his choice of words regarding the game outcome and just my gut.

However, in saying this, there's just not enough information to go on to make a reading of SP (or any of the other players) for me.

My apologies if you're Townie, DT!! Regardless of my rep, I do get it wrong LOTS!! It's just I usually have more time than 30 minutes to read a thread and make a guess, and a lot of other players throwing ideas around in topic to work off.

As long as you don't sit around doing nothing painting a target on your shirt saying "I would really like to experience death by the Mafia's graceful touch kthx", then you can go ahead and enter again.

During Day 1, people really needed to throw more guesses out there, because evidence has to start out with something. I like what 1-up did by going for Marchie, but both Marchie and Panfan seemed to discourage doing this. If I wasn't hosting I probably would have jumped on both of them for that. The theory that I specifically put SP and DT on different teams was actually false - it's the most probable outcome, but if they do land on the same team, then so be it.

From there, though, nobody really pushed for anything. There isn't much more I can comment on besides noting that the Mafia could easily take advantage of the town not saying much by copying them. This was the big downfall and why there wasn't a single lynch. I really hope to see more action in future games.

Speed and DT were the two Mafia. Everybody else was a vanilla Townie.

Signups for a new practice game start right now. It will start instantly when all spots get filled. Tell me what category you want to go in too.

For what it's worth, I genuinely tried to teach the town a few things even as mafia. Also, my mega-post against SP was supposed to get her to come after me. Half of the things I was accusing her of were things I had done. I was hoping for a bit more of a dramatic clash of the vets where the remaining townies would have to figure out who was who, but part of me knew it wouldn't happen.

Unfortunately, the less people participate, the harder it is to get a reading on them. Which in and of itself, may be a tactic...
