Generally mafia is 1/4th to 1/3rd of the total population. I'd guess 4 or 5 Mafia, 1-3 Independents. ...Since generally the town only makes up like 2/3rds the population anyway.

Oh, and on Independents that end the game: Pretty much the only time that happens is with Serial Killers and such. If they can end the game, its from the same sort of thing the mafia is trying to accomplish; eliminating and/or outnumbering the rest of the players. And even then, its stuff that's not going to happen until the population is really low anyway.

I really don't get why you're overreacting to this. I have some ideas, but eh.

And since I don't really have as much of a reason to go for Panfan right now...

You can if you're an independent with some random win condition (And not something like surviving to the end of the game). And a win like that probably won't result in the game just ending, if that's what you're worried about.

For everyone else, they'll need to get through their win conditions of eliminating all mafia / making up half the town's population and such.

Well, I hate to double post, but this day is quickly approaching utter failure, so whatever. We have roughly 23-24 hours left at this point (...I think. Tazy said the 11th. ...And also Sunday, which isn't the 11th, so I don't know). And right now the player with the most votes is Panfan with a grand total of 3 out of the needed 9.

I would like to try for Marchie since I find his actions the most suspicious, but honestly I don't care too much right now as long as its not letting the day slide by again. -_-

Yeah if people are starting to trust each other I'd like to see those members vote together so we can get someone off today which so far would include ZG + Deku and CL + TG. The rest of us just need to follow the crowd and get a lynch in so we can actually start the game.

Right now we don't even need ANY help from the mafia in lynching members so voting shouldn't be hard. But if we wait closer to lylo, then yes we will be dependent on the mafia to vote members off during the daytime.

Give us some of your impressions, Panfan. What have you noticed in the behaviors of the players we have, and what do those observations make you think? If you're a townie, it's a worthwhile idea to turn our attention elsewhere, isn't it? The more you speak, the more we can tell about you, and if you're a townie that's obviously helpful to us.

Unless ZG and Deku or CL and TG are collaborating as Mafia. (Not that I have much reason to believe that at the moment, but hey, you never know.)

But it was the fact that not only in that post, but in many others as well, you type a lot of words but really say nothing. It's like you are SAYING "I have no opinions whatsoever on who is mafia and who isn't, but hey let's lynch someone I have no evidence against whatsoever just to get some voting patterns."

The problem with that is if we lynch just for the sake of a lynch, the mafia will bandwagon certainly, but I guarantee some townies will as well. So it doesn't really help too much with the voting pattern thing.

Now that said, I have no problem with being eager for a lynch-- I want one just as much as the next person-- but I believe that taking a chance and lynching someone SOME PEOPLE AGREE COULD BE MAFIA FOR CERTAIN REASONS is different than lynching just anyone on no basis whatsoever besides the fact that everyone else is voting that same person.

That said, I'm not fully convinced you're mafia yet, but I'm seeing flaws in your logic and I'd like to hear some opinions of yours as to who you think is mafia. Not who you want to lynch on no basis, but is there anyone or anything you've seen that seemed off, or anyone whose opinions have swayed you?

I do not think you would cover up for ZeldaGirl if she could automatically end it, and you are a veteran so I will choose to believe you for now.
On that note, is being independent a bad thing or not?
Deku wouldn't have grilled ZG if it wasn't a problem.

Now there is another problem. The is nobody obvious to vote for.
There is the chance that PanFan is doomed to be eternally mafia, but that's not very conclusive.
