| Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Here, what an odd question. Gender: Posts: 162 Thanks: 5 Thanked 25 Times in 12 Posts | Seriously for a moment, I was pretty sad to learn I was locked onto a single path the first time I completed a mission, otherwise I WOULD have done as many of those missions as I could have, and that probably would have slowed me down in becoming an investigator somewhat. Maybe. Actually I have no idea. I had no idea that"completing all the first missions" thing would have turned into a role thief, I was honestly expecting it to be a Jack of All Trades. About the only complaint I have is the flavour. Each time I finished a mission and got some flavour text, my mind instantly went "oh neat, i am a watcher now i guess?/ooohh, so i am a cop with a % chance to fail maybe!/oh so i only get mafia results if they actively took part in the burning?" or stuff like that. Maybe I was just hungry for a night action other than digging, buuut eh. Worked out in the end anyways! This role is probably the most fun I've had playing mafia in a long time. It worked really well with how I actually play that game (re: setting up a few short term goals to help me puzzle out who's who), so if you felt like I was breaking the role over my knee, Tazy, that would largely be why. so i guess to prove that i am the mission god, i guess i'll go through and show how i would theoretically break the rest of these missions??? yeah yeah i get that doing so would be really narcissistic and show-offy on my part but whatever, i loved this role and i am sad to see there is so much to it that i didn't get the chance to horribly multilate. |

| Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Here, what an odd question. Gender: Posts: 162 Thanks: 5 Thanked 25 Times in 12 Posts | You already saw what I did for the investigator path, so let's sidestep all of that except for... Investigator Step 4: Blue blue My original plan was to twist Tazy's arm slightly and get him to put a trivia question or two in tag in which the answers would be "blue". He didn't go for it, even when I halfheartedly mentioned Crav already did something similar. So instead you got me more or less claiming indy, and the shenanigans that followed. All in all, good times. also yes tazy i know it wasn't in my role that i would leave day 6, that was a horrible horrible lie i used to buy me some time to investigate stuff. ================ Role Blocker Step 1: Post a ton ... yeah. == Role Blocker Step 2: Mean-spirited Jerk I guess I'd have to buy something from Nook, or hope that someone was feeling generous, because I have no idea how I could casually go "hey guys give me an item that could hurt someone, also i am a totally legit townie". == Role Blocker Step 3:Tortoise and Hare Tactics This one would be pretty easy, I'd grab someone from the white noise and then just post as usual. Pretty sure I wouldn't have to do anything crazy special. == Role Blocker Step 4: OBJECTION!! Okay I am sad I didn't get to do this one in the actual game, because I would seriously bust out that ancient Objection creator thing just for this. Outside of that... It'd probably be around the time that TML was still being targeted by monstr? I'd probably go through and disassemble his arguments and try to steer it somewhere better, I guess. All from the Objection thing. Classy. == Role Blocker Step 5: Lemme Get My Point On This one would be kind of easy in the twilight of the game, depending. About the only thing that could possibly trip me up is I literally never FoS unless I have to by some mysterious mod force. So if anyone knew that and saw me bust that out, pretty good chance I'd get called out on it. and now you all know that. i am clearly really clever. ================ Thief Step 1: Just Takin' Inventory Day 1 Joke vote phase. Done and done. == Thief Step 2: Give and Take This one could maybe have been a touch difficult. I could claim that I'd been hit with a random status ailment and that I needed the corresponding fruit to cure it, but that might have ended up with me in a web of lies about what the mafia could/could not do. There would also be the risk of no one sending me said fruit and then I'd have to come up with a completely different gambit to get an item sent to me. or monstr could inadvertedly be my bro and send me something again like he did night 1, and thus completely solve the problem for me. == Thief Step 3: Shopping Spree! yeah pretty much. == Thief Step 4: ... okay what the hell I have no idea how I'd pull this one off, if anything, it'd have to just incidentally happen. Other than be an upstanding member of the town. Yaaay. == Thief Step 5: In Spades Well, another one I'd be unsure of how to proceed. I'd probably target someone somewhat inactive or apathetic towards the game. Then it's more or less pray that I don't have to do it again on the odd chance the person who got their shovel stolen doesn't out me to everyone and stop me from ever being the world's best thief. ================ Nurse Step 1: Screw your Day 1 Joke Vote Phase Or voting at all Day 1, actually. == Nurse Step 2: Terrible Bedside Manner I'd have to wait and see if anyone came forward with being hit by something. Since it seems it doesn't matter how much negative attention I get from this, I suppose I could just outright do it, then take the FoS off at the end of the 24 hour period. == Nurse Step 3: I'm Sorry, He's Dead. I'd probably do this in the same manner I FoS'd the burnt house in the actual game, just hold out for a lull, and strike. == Nurse Step 4: Return of the Shopper Did I hear buy a shirt and give it to someone else? I sure did! == Nurse Ste-- MY MOTHER NEVER LOVED ME BAAAAAAWWWWW MY EMOTIONS ARE A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR OF SADNESS, A CATACLYSMIC TYPHOON OF SORROW AND DEPRESSION. NO ONE APPRECIATES ME OR THE WORK I DOOOOO BAAWWWWWWW conversely i guess i could go "hey person i sent the shirt to last night... you like?" ================ Double Voter Step 1: I ****ing Love Joke Voting i love it so hard guys, oh my god. == Double Voter Step 2: I Have Two Hands to Point With I guess I'd just FoS two people In separate posts, maybe make them actually matter or something, I dunno. == Double Voter Step 3: Ctrl+F and how! == Double Voter Ste-- wait three people exiled in one day need to say help? i uh i think you may have flubbed this mission dude, either it takes three days to do or i don't even know == Double Voter Step 5: I Have Multiple Personality Disorder This one also would have been fun, I think I'd just spend the whole in-game day making posts via quoting other people. It would be like those old ransom notes make out of magazine clippings, and they would be a total pain to make/read! It'd be good times. ================ ???? Step 6: I am an Indecisive Moron Since it's just PM who I think is who, I would spend an hour or two when Tazy was on just assaulting him with Pms about who's who. Then I'd use the list he'd inadvertently given me to steal roles from all the cool people. ================ good bye, animal crosser... i'll miss you... Last edited by Kail; 02-10-2012 at 02:28 AM. Reason: made it easier to read, i guess |

Join Date: Sep 2000 Location: A Tiny Shed Gender: Posts: 16,483 Thanks: 529 Thanked 1,254 Times in 897 Posts Blog Entries: 46 | ^ I meant voted on an exile/lynch they were not exiled themselves. Maybe I could have worded it better. Anyway.... KESSLER The following is just basic info I had on people that would have been supplied to Snake when he asked Kessler about them. I realize that I may be either a. Wrong, or b. unknowingly insult someone with these. I apologize in advance, since I made this Day 1 and didn't touch it since, because... well, Snake died. I was kind of inventive at the beginning, but then I got bored. :I 1. Chunky - Chunky....Loves Ponies, once owned a hotel on the Land of Neglected Characters. Speaks softly but he's as crafty as they come. And he'll do anything to complete the mission, like kill himself, or fake a post restriction. It's very hard to predict what he'll do, but never trust him, because he's too smart to slip up....over and out 2. monstrman - monstrman, he's a veteran no one's heard of before a while ago. Invented the Insulin Bucket, which kills in seconds! Some people would say his capability in far away forums would make him a formidable foe, but he's out of his element, not yet able to fully understand what he's working with like others. But, the man's a deli worker, so watch out! He may be trustworthy, but he'll easily jump you if you're not capable. Over and out. 3. Cravdraa - Cravdraa... he's the kind of man who will have fun killing everyone in a town. A Mastermind to masterminds, it's said he owns an entire realm all his own. His sheer ability to make or break the game makes him incredibly powerful, and he'll never stop until he meets his mark. You'll never be able to overpower this man... Maybe if you can use him instead of fight him, you might stand a chance. Over and Out. 4. Kail - Kail...There isn't too much on him. He is generally playful, but can be surprisingly good at what he does. He comes from a far away-place so we have almost no clue of his past. That doesn't make him unbeatable though, just as long as you make sure he stays in the spotlight, he won't get away with much. Over and Out. 5. Random User - Random User...He actually doesn't have much in the way of a track record, with most of his excursions ending in an uneventful demise. He doesn't say or do much, but you know how the inexperienced are. They can be more dangerous than any expert. Just don't lose your cool and you'll do fine. Over and Out. 6. The Missing Link -The Missing Link? Did you really say The Missing Link? Oh boy....A Game Designer himself, he knows the ins and outs of game balance and can adapt very well. A Long time Veteran, he'll take whatever he has and take it to the fullest. Once he sets his sights on you, it'll all be over. Stay under his radar, period. Over and out. 7. Microphone Kirby - Microphone_Kirby... He seems to be a very pessimistic character. Tends to worry about his situation alot and eventually become apathetic. However, this can also make him someone that people will keep from targeting. He'll generally be someone who doesn't change the game, but he can still use his powers to stomp you if you don't watch. It'll be good to take it slow with him, and make sure he doesn't sneak attack you. Over and Out. 8. Daos - Daos...A known veteran, he doesn't have the grand skills of some, but he makes up for it in knowledge. If anyone knows how to outthink Mafia, it will be him. He may make mistakes, but if he has enough time, he'll be able to turn it all around against his enemies. Once he has his sights on you, take him out quickly before he has a chance to plan a debilitating attack. Over and Out. 9. Loot - Loot....formerly Luigi 007, he's generally known for the master of the art of Sucking and Losing. However, as long as there isn't an Alpha Male to keep him down, he'll be more than vocal when the time comes. He's very active and can very well make a move whenever possible. If you give him the space, he'll more than easily take some sort of initiative. Keep him close and if you think he has something on you, beat him down fast before he gets a chance. Over and Out. 10. X-3 X-3... He's a long time player, but generally not one that makes big moves. However, that will make him harder to pinpoint, because he is more than capable of winning matches. He's been around as long as I have, and he has the scars to prove it, so show some respect. A little honey will get alot more leeway than vinegar, especially in a battle of wits. Over and Out. 11. Kirbyboy2K Kirbyboy2000... He's almost an expert in this sort of game. He tends to be somewhat paranoid, but that doesn't make him a small fish. He'll kill without blinking an eye, so watch for his FoS's. He tends to know the ins and outs of these games, so a curve ball isn't going to work. You'll need to out-think him, and as long as he can't find a reason to distrust you, he'll never act on it. Stay in the grass, and he'll never cut your head off....Over and Out. 12. Luigiman Luigiman....He's generally forgettable. Whether he's working for good or ill, his inactivity and inexperience has screwed him out of victory on a regular basis. However, he has also taken out others along the way, and can be a destructive and unpredictable force. He can be really active, and more than capable of keeping up when he can. If he winds himself up, it's best to stay out of his way, since nothing can stop that tornado....Over and Out. 13. Marilink Marilink....He is an Off and On Player, and as such can be both an expert and hard to track. He has more than a few friends around and he can just as easily play the board to his advantage. He could have some new tricks up his sleeve as well as old tricks that people may have forgotten. Watch him and make sure you don't get caught up in his plans. The worst thing that could get happen is you get caught in a trap rusted by another's blood. Over and Out 14. S1x S1x?! Oh no....S1x is a Puzzle Master, Game Theory Master, and has made more than a few games that could take Einstein for a spin. His capabilities are almost limitless. But that makes him a big target. If he lasts beyond a few days, he'll be a great power to overcome, maybe even impossible. Just stay calm and don't do anything to arouse suspicion. He may keep the game in your hands as long as your don't give him a reason to take it from you... Over and Out. 15. Worthy Protoplasm Worthy Protoplasm....A Fighter from Far Away. He's very capable, but very mysterious too. This makes him quite the wild card, since there aren't enough games to tell enough of his play style at this moment. That is unless you want to take a trip to another place for a while and find out. Don't make your life miserable trying to figure him out, just let him do his thing and try to keep him out of your plans. A wild card can be the worst card in the wrong hand. Over and Out. 16. SephirothKirby SephirothKirby....He is generally inactive nowadays. But, do not count him out just because he's not as active as newer players. He is a very intelligent and capable combatant, but his inactivity will bring him down a tad. This makes his Night Actions much more potent to him, so watch for his wrath at night. As long as you keep away from his suspicions, you'll be more than capable of overcoming him. Over and out. NEXT: Events, Statuses, and Items. |

There was a chance to either get nothing, Bells, an Item or an Event. Some places were better than others, and some places had no event. I'm placing this here as proof of its existence, because I'm probably deleting this soon. Only one person can get an item. In the case of someone getting the same item as someone else, they get 50 Bells instead. Priority definitely plays into this. Join Date: Sep 2000 Location: A Tiny Shed Gender: Posts: 16,483 Thanks: 529 Thanked 1,254 Times in 897 Posts Blog Entries: 46 | FINAL WORDS Compared to my last game, this worked ALOT better in my opinion. I would never have even gotten it off the ground without Jen's help, and all the stuff I did seemed to help make this my favorite game to do so far. I wish the game could have had more people and gone longer, but at the same time I'm glad this is done. I haven't been having the best time over here, so that didn't help this game. Still, it went over well and I think that either way I've learned something to take away from this. Mostly the game mechanics, and I hope to take that into my future endeavors. Still, if you want to yell at me because I made a broken Mafia, you have until someone locks this topic ![]() Future Mafias! I have 2 Mafias that I want to announce....maybe. There's one other that's on the back burner, but I'll save that for last. First of all is my Secret Mafia, which does not have a specific game theme. Don't get me wrong, it will involve video games, but it won't be based off of a particular one. What is it about? Who will be in it? How many people will be in it? The answer is SPOILERS!!! But, it will be my next Mafia game, so don't think I'm dragging you along. It's because I am :3 My next Mafia game after that will be Mario Mafia 2, Remember Mario Mafia 1 and the terrible violence entailed? That will be back! More Mario, More killing, Less Game Breaking Inventors, Less Terrible Mafia Cops (maybe)! Again, I'm not spoiling too much, but feel free to guess from the end of Mario Mafia 1. ![]() Finally....Animal Crossing Mafia 2. I've actually come up with a solid idea about it. Nothing too concrete, but I have the continuing plot and some basic ideas. But realize there may be ONE other Mafia, above the other two that may go in front of this one. Well, I'd like to thank all of you for playing, and I hope to see you all again next time! Until then, Keep on Lynching! |

As Tazy's said, I played a rather small part helping him out with this. I wrote some of the dialogue for him that he took and I had a lot of fun watching the game knowing who was who beforehand too. :3 I think it helped me understand mafia and different playstyles a little better. ^^ Yeah, I think Tazy was having a hard time managing the night phases. It was a lot of work to do. I think next time he does a game with this much work, I'll have to help him out even more. |

Like for real, you were all inactive and also pretty much gave up right away... |
