But I bet you forget about turning it off after the battle, and the upkeep cost just keeps draining your mana. So a couple minutes later, when some ninja mages come over, you want to try to do Mana Burn, but you're like "Damn. I forgot to stop being on fire." and they totally wail at you with wave after wave of skeletal ninjas.
