Question for all other non-Irish people

Why am I the only non-Irish person who loves Saint Pattie's Day enough to make a topic about it? Give some love to the Irish. -CSM

I don't care for drinking beer?

...Or wearing green because of a day?

Well, everyone's a wee bit Irish on St. Patrick's Day. You all should know that.

And where's HotD? She has a lot of friends from the fantasy world, like Shyguys and stuff, so what about the Leprechauns? -CSM

A lot of my weird relatives are all crazy over-the-top about our ballyhooed Irish heritage. I'm like, "Hey, we're maybe 1/32nd Irish and the rest German. You want to celebrate our heritage, go invade France or something."

I don't drink green beer on this day but I do drink plenty of whiskey or burbon as they are the ones who invented the drink and brought it to the United States when they migrated.

Why do people need a holiday to get plastered? And what happened to celebrating St. Patrick?

^Well, St. Patrick supposedly banished snakes from Ireland. So, to honour him, you could kick a snake's ass, or at least chase it away. Most snakes are scared little sissies who flee in the face of danger, so it wouldn't be hard to put one to flight.

1/8. Or 1/4, I forget.

And yet, I don't feel the Irish blood at times.
