Lenny's Adventure: Quest for More Cash

Your name is Lenny. You're 28 years old. You're a single white male living in an two-bedroom apartment in the asscrack of the city.

You've lived fairly comfortably in said asscrack for the last six years, working a humdrum job at McDonald's making minimum wage plus the occasional bonus for putting on the boss's foot fungus cream for him. You haven't been leading a fancy life, but you've been content with what you have.

Then yesterday, you got a phone call from your estranged brother Leroy. He was in prison because he wasn't able to pay off his one million dollar college debt, and needed $10,000,000 bail to get out. Stunned by his sudden reentrance into your life, you told him you'd think about it and hung up. You and Leroy haven't been the closest lately. I mean, all he's ever done is make fun of your jewfro, and your sideburns, and your Beatle boots (he's just jealous). But after a night of eating Chinese take out and dreaming about koala bears as you slept, you decided that blood was indeed thicker than water. Or something. Anywho, the point is, you decided to try to raise that ten grand grand for your long-lost brother.

So, this is another interactive adventure. It's a spin-off of Leroy's Adventure, which I can't really continue since I lost all my stuff for it the last time my computer crashed. The game plays the same (for the most part). Just post what you want Lenny to do, and I'll post his action. Remember, objects you can interact with will be highlighted in green. It takes forever to draw these things out, so be patient while I prepare the next post. We'll see how long this game will go.

You're standing in your apartment room. The air is crisp and cool, since the window's been stuck open as long as you've lived here and you don't know how to close it. You can hear scuttling within the walls. Your room contains a cabinet, a mini-fridge, and a bed. Your wallet is sitting atop the cabinet.

There is an exit north (Your Bathroom) and south (Rockcoach Apartments 2nd Floor).

Feeling vulnerable, you quickly put your shirt back on.

You take the wallet and look through it. Aside from two scratched up credit cards you found on the street, a Denny's gift card with two cents left on it, and a few spider eggs, you find $80 in bills.

Lenny: Sweet wampum!

You also see a photo in one of the pockets. It's from the last time you and your brother Leroy were together, six years ago, at a professional photographer's shop. When the photographer said "Cheese!", Leroy slammed a lemon meringue pie into your face. The photo became the family Christmas card.

Lenny: Makes me pine for the good ol' days...

You had a touching moment remembering the past. You gained 1 experience point!
