ok if you start a new game (why will be explained in a minute), after you receive the wave beam, you will need to use the electricity produced by the wave beam to power some doors.

well when you come across one of these doors and you look around for the power 'spots' (i can't remember what they're called, the things you can't see without the thermal visor, and you shoot them with the wave beam to 'power' them, i'm sure you guys know what i mean). well before shooting it, scan it with your scan visor, and while still holding down the L button, use the D-pad to select another visor, preferably the 'normal' visor.

keep holding down L, and you can move around where the 'power spot' was, but where the power spot was... there's now this weird blue-colored 3D shape. and it'll still be there if you move around, as long as you are still holding L.

anybody else notice this? i thought it was rather odd...

Why start a new game? Why not just do it on a played file?

Anyways, no. I haven't noticed this.

oh sorry i forgot to mention that...

you can do it on an existing file, however, you can't be very far into the game because: it only works on a 'power spot' that hasn't been 'turned on' yet.
