| Guest | I don't blame you for that comment. There are many that want Samus to return to her superhuman form, and 3rd person is the way to go for that. Question is, where will the game take place? For the record, it cannot be Metroid 2.5, as Samus spends pretty much her entire time at the Ceres Academy while researchers studied the Metroid hatchling. |

| Guest | I think it will be in 1st person again. Check the tenative date, sometime in 2004. No way they are going to redo the entire play mechanics, and put a game out in that time, even if it is just tenative. For story line, it could either be 3.5 or 5, but I have a feeling it will probably be 3.5, just judging by the fact that Inteligent Systems did 4, and Retro did 1.5, it looks like a trend that could follow. OR, Retro could pull a 1.75, or something like that. |

| Guest | I didn't say that it was a prequel to Metroid 2, I was just saying that because there is no real timeline indicators of how long it was between Metroid and Metroid 2, it COULD be another prequel. Being inbetween 3&4, or after 4 is much more likely. |
