| Guest | When I'm in the Impact Crater, before Metroid Prime, there are quite a few Fission Metroids in the "Mouth Cave", as I call it. Since I want to conserve my energy for the big guy, I need a good strategy against them. I've tried a few things, but nothing really seems to work. Anyone have a strategy against these things? |

Takes a helluva long time. you MIGHT lose health. b) lure a bunch near you the let one on you and use a power bomb to anihalate (sp?) all FM's within range. You WILL lose health from the metroid on you. b) My FAVE strategy: run like hell to the left of the center pillar and hop on the "Teeth". get to the top of the few teeth, turn left and hop from platform to plaform. If you hear a metroid screech, jump around but keep moving. If it lands on you, use a bomb to shake it off or a POWER BOMB to eliminate it. Hop up to the missile station and recharge any lost missiles, then get to the door and open it. Either eliminate nearby metroids while in the door and recharge the lost missiles THEN run, or just run. Once you get to the top, enter the door. Hope that works. Good luck with Prime! |

| Guest | I ignore 'em. Unless they wack into me and make me fall into the Red Phazon (yes that stuff is Phazon, dunno how it is made though *trying to make theories*), or they try to suck health from me, I don't really lose more then a few bits of engergy. Btw, against Metroid Prime, in the 2nd part, when Fission Metroids appear, IGNORE THEM!!! Metroid Prime is about to die, so one good hit with Phazon kills him. Plus any Fission Metroids who get too close die. |
