About Beam Troopers

Is it just me, or do the Ice Troopers never fire Ice beams,the Wave Troopers never fire Wave Beams, and the Plasma Troopers never fire plasma beams? I think the creature discription says they are suposed to, but I've never seen it done. They always fire what looks like the Power Beam. It just kinda bugs me.

They only fire yellow pulse blasts. Damn uncreative Retro Studios. Yeah, it's stupid. Niny doesn't give a damn.

AHEM! According to the scans (spoilers for those who haven't played);

"Their beam systems are inferior to your Chozo-designed originals..."

That means that they aren't yet there when it comes to duplicating the beams.

I think what they ment by the "Their beam systems are inferior to your Chozo-designed originals..." is the fact that the Pirates are suceptable the the beam systems they carry. I think it states that your weapons have been "reverse-engineered," and I would suspect that that would mean they at least have something simmilar to the beam they are suposed to have. I guess I'm just ranting.
