Well, not so much better as HARDER, but...
Quote:
- According to Nintendo of Europe, the UK version of the first-person adventure title Metroid Prime will ship later this month with a host of notable enhancements. The end result could make for a significantly more polished and difficult experience.
We've compiled a list of the additions below:

-Defeated enemies don't drop as many power-ups as the US version; less ammo and energy
-Stronger enemies: it takes more shots to eliminate certain enemies and their attacks are more powerful
-Faster loss of energy when walking on acid or lava
-Some doors will now require multiple shots to open just like in the SNES game
-Hint system refined: it takes 10-15 minutes longer for hints to appear when players are stuck
-Gamers can skip cut-scenes after they've played through once
-Includes speech: English speech for the intro and voice output when scanning objects and adding them to the log. Also, a voice notifies players when doors are locked and unlocked and there is an added voice for the ending of the game
*sobs* I WANT MY GAME TO HAVE VOOOOICE!

*debates whether she's rather have the easy version, or suffer with the hard version and have voice...*

You know, why don't we just all move to England and buy it,then move back and rub it into everyone's faces that our game is better?

Dear GOD, you've obviously never played the old metroid games. Metroid Prime is TOO easy, with the exception of Omega Pirate.

I WANT THE VOIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!

No, you know what's not fair? Japan got a bunch of extras for Prime and Fusion that were eliminated from the US version. Prime lost a few gallaries, while Fusion had a hard mode with a different set of endings that revealied info on Samus's childhood!

WHY?!

Damn you Japanese. Damn you and your knowledge of Samus' childhood!

'tis true. It took me about a week to finish Prime(and I suck at FPSs anyways) whereas, when I beat Super Metroid one summer ago, it took me nearly a month.

-Defeated enemies don't drop as many power-ups as the US version; less ammo and energy

I'm not particularly excited by this change.
-Stronger enemies: it takes more shots to eliminate certain enemies and their attacks are more powerful

Ah...no, I'm happy with the enemies as they are.

-Faster loss of energy when walking on acid or lava
That makes sense, but I'm not entirely bothered we don't have that.

-Some doors will now require multiple shots to open just like in the SNES game

Ah sou...that's nice and all but not something that'd make me scream "no fair."

-Hint system refined: it takes 10-15 minutes longer for hints to appear when players are stuck

Eh...

-Gamers can skip cut-scenes after they've played through once

That's a nice addition.

-Includes speech: English speech for the intro and voice output when scanning objects and adding them to the log. Also, a voice notifies players when doors are locked and unlocked and there is an added voice for the ending of the game

I'd love to have the voice.

First file, I racked up 17-18 hours. Ugh. But I suck at both CPU and ESPECIALLY console, so that was good. I haven't beat SM YET and I started before Prime.

So he's right. And he's right about me being right, heh.
