Super Metroid game clear time.

What is your best time for Super Metroid completion? Mine is a bit over 4 hours, but I only beat it once. Unfortunately... Another 8 hours can be added to that since my old file was deleted before I got to completed the game and I started over....

My completion time was usually around the five hour mark every time I beat it. The day before Metroid Prime came out, I decided to finally go for the best ending and clocked in at 2:27.

Some guy at the Metroid Database did it in 0:59... O_o

Under two hours (don't remember the exact time, but I think it's 1:40 or something like that), about 70% of the items.
