Question about Zero Mission

How do you unlock hard mode? I've beaten normal mode under 2 hours and between 2 and 4 hours, but I still cannot choose hard mode.

Unless they changed the European version from the US release, it should've been unlocked by now.

That's odd. I tried starting a new game, but I could only pick easy and normal.

EDIT: I just realised that there are no PAL versions of GBA games. They're the same for every region.

Nevermind, I got it now.

I just selected new game from my normal file and deleted it. Then I was able to pick hard mode.

Ah, sorry I didn't see this sooner to help ya. Hard mode is a pain in the ass, in some ways. I mean, the half energy tanks is sinister, as well as the enemy placement..

It sure is. I'm going to try to get 100%, but not under 2 hours, and I'm not going to try a 15% finish either. Are those even physically possible on hard mode?

They are but they're EXTREMELY hard. I've been trying to finish my 15% hard game for a month and a half now. I managed to get past Mother Brain after about 10 tries; two hits and you're dead meat. But the pirate ship is hard.

I don't think I would even get to Mother Brain, let alone beat her.
