I laughed so hard at that. It is completely and totally true and accurate.

Nintendo has a history of making you hate particular aspects of their game. I mean, Ganondorf seemed particularily amiable after dealing with Navi for the entirety of OoT. And then there was the King of Hyrule in Windwaker. He destroyed Hyrule. Even Ganon didn't want to do that. It's a good example how righteousness can be more destructive than selfishness or stupidity.

The only reason the King sank Hyrule was so that Ganondorf could never rise again, and because people would always try to find Hyrule.

And the Wrecked Ship isn't supposed to be the Pirate's ship, I thought.

Couldn't he have just asked them to...I dunno, smite down Ganondorf and remove his Triforce piece? Flooding the kingdom is a little...extreme.

Anyway, I read in Game Informer, Nintendo cancelled the Metroid Dread project. It was a small snippit, though. It's in the Classic GI section in issue 180.

Because magazines (especially Game Informer) are always right.

Still, that's kinda distressing--but I'd rather wait for a more reliable source.

QFT. I'd rather see Hyrule in Ganon's hands than completely erased. KoH was completely insane.

I don't really believe in Game Informer's rumormill, frankly. I will be severely disappointed if there is no real Metroid project on the horizon.
