It doesn't really go into the logs of how Samus's screwball technique is successful for her though. The only real way we will ever figure it out is if the next Prime game has Chozo logs explaining her powersuit.

If you wanna go into power suits for real life, there is much research being done for the military as we speak. We are sooo close to the real thing.

I'm glad they highlighted the exoskeleton's 'prancing and dancing' aspects--here I was worried that gay soldiers would have trouble operating the unit.

It's a good thing you can vary the amount of strength used in any given activity. Otherwise, petting a kitten would be catastrophic. 'Hey, there, little fellahhHHH CHRIST I SKOOSHED HIM!! WHYYYYYYY' On the other hand, that might appeal to some people, so I guess it'd all sort of balance out.

Control over strength is good, admittedly. There is certainly something satisfying knowing you have the ability to throw puppies at the speed of sound, given the desire to.

But.. but... what if I have to charge a fuel pump by inserting a 1-meter-in-diameter metal sphere and detonating a concussive blast?

YOU MEAN LIKE THE ONE IN THAT MOVIE?! Oh wait, that just fastforwarded time. Also, it featured Adam Sandler, who could never hope to be as awesome as anything awesome.
