I reread some of the posts, and it seems he's holding to what Koga said for the first half. Though I would like to know what the hell he meant by:

Still, by Dai's logic, the NES Final Fantasy and the PSX Final Fantasy are two totally different games rather than the latter just being an upgrade of the former just because one's prettier and has cutscenes.
