The reason she could accept the Ice Beam at the end of Metroid Fusion was because she got back the part of her suit that allowed her to accept it. So, unless she lost that part again (or somehow manages to break it), she doesn't have to worry about problems with the Ice Beam.

That's not how metroids reproduce. Wouldn't happen.

Maybe she does and just doesn't know it. In the next game, she crash lands on a prison planet, discovers there's some alien problem and not a single weapon to be found on the planet, finds out she has a Metroid queen in her chest, and the game's bad ending involves her purposely falling into a vat of molten lead.

I never said that Zebes reformed after being blown to dust and debris. I said that Zebes was never blown to dust and debris. The bomb exploded and reshaped Zebes into the oval shape seen at the end of the game. What was left was a solid mass, though I am sure there would be many hollowed out spots inside the planet.

Also, a story of Samus actually turning into a Metroid because of the Metroid DNA would be more realistic. The story could say that the change was not immediate because the DNA had not developed enough, but after absorbing the energy of the X, the DNA cells began to awaken, take control, and mutate Samus' body. Then in the end, if she cannot prevent the change she has to freeze herself until a cure is found.

Or perhaps another storyline could be written into that involving other Space Hunters that actually hunt for Samus by order of the Federation. She would be wanted for destroying a Federation research station, destroying SR-388, resisting arrest, treason, possessing powerful weapons that make her a threat, and having Metroid DNA that may cause her to spawn more Metroids.

^ Metroid Prime: Hunters maybe? To me it would seem like it's done before, but I dunno for sure.

Also, how do Metroids reproduce? How do viruses (or virii, whatever) reproduce? You tell me, how can you alter a cell's DNA with just a serum? How can you prepare such a serum "without delay"? It seems to me like what's being used in the serum is weakened Metroid cells, in a similar way to current vaccines.

And finally, Samus isn't supposed to be able to resist ice because of a part of her suit. What makes her weak to ice is the Metroid vaccine. After that point, it's either X resistance, or ice beam. Make your pick.

The only pirates that existed in Fusion were the X clones. They were desintigrated along with SR-388.

So SR388 was desintegrated by the selfdestruct explosives on a space station, and Zebes wasn't blown to dust and debris by a bomb planted with the sole function of destroying the planet in case of an emergency. What a great thought, rolleyes.

Er... There.

It IS quite possible that some X may have stowed away on a Space Pirate ship. (Which might explain why there were X-clones of the Pirates on the station.)

The Metroid Queen layed eggs. Other than that, Metroids could be caused to duplicate by exposure to radiation. And Samus is also part Chozo, for the record.

Dai Grepher: The station held many bombs, some located in various areas because they had Metroids there and they were experimenting with many other dangerous things, such as the Nightmare. The blast had to be enough to destroy everything in and around it. The blast of the station reached the core of SR-388 and caused it to explode from the core outward.

Zebes' bomb was located presumably in Tourain just beneath the surface. That bomb was only enough to destroy Samus in case she succeeded in destroying Mother Brain.

And who's to say that Zebes DIDN'T have many bombs? And who's to say that there wasn't a bomb that reached into the Zebes' core?

....And HOW did the Space Station go into SR-388's core by simply crashing into the surface?

I thought it was obvious I was joking about the whole Metroids bursting from Samus's chest thing. I mean, my last post screamed Alien 3...

Even if there were no aliens in Samus's chest, Part Metroid + Ice = Bad.

So the bomb just happens to take six minutes to explode, instead of 30 seconds. I think six minutes are too much to prevent Samus from escaping, but I also think that's enough time for a digging robot (I hope you saw that movie too) to dig into the planet's core and blow it up from within. Ah, whatever. Dai Grepher has no right of word anyway.

If Samus did not destroy all the Metroids that the Space Pirates had after Zero Mission/Metroid Prime in Metroid Prime 2(I don't have it), there should be a game(maybe hunters) where they are destroyed. There is also the plot of Federation Metroid clones. They could possibily have been creating others elsewhere. The Federation possibly considers Samus a criminal and may send other Bounty Hunters, as well as Federation Marines after her. I believe the next game after Fusion should have Samus running from the Federation while the Space Pirates are also plotting aganist her and the Federation.

^...Are there still Metroid on the Luminoth(sp?) planet? I have yet to beat the game, but from what I understand, they never really were bothered with (at least, later on in the game.) They actually built nests that spat out little baby Metroids.

Yes, it is "Luminoth". And no, my -younger- brother owns the game but doesn't let me play it. <_< >_> So I don't know zip about baby Metroid incinerator chambers or whatever. I don't even know about what Echoes have to do with the game.
