Nitnendo doesn't dicate what Fuse makes, Fuse gets to decide. Nintendo simply lets them use their license and pusblishes the agme for them. Plus, a budget for this type of game would be small, so even selling only a small amount of games being sold will net a profit. |

They're totally abusing the Metroid license. I mean, just because Nintendo owns Mario you don't see them making titles like Mario Baseball or Mario DDR, right? Right? Oh, crap... |

I don't think so. Anyone who's a really involved fan will likely see it as a pinball game stealing the Metroid image. I'm not going to go out and buy ****ing Samus plushies, though I love the series. ![]() |

Tetris Attack was a great game, even though it got almost no attention...then Nintendo gives it a Pokémon makeover and everyone plays it. I have played the SNES and GB versions of TA and both PKMN Puzzle Challenge and PKMN Puzzle League, and they are all good games, albeit almost exactly the same aside from graphics and characters. And just so a debate don't start, I know that Tetris Attack was a Yoshi makeover of Panel De Pon in Japan, which was also a great game. Mario Kart. The major spin-off franchise from Mario is just that, a spin-off that grew to something great. Although it is a full game, Zelda: The Minish Cap is a prequal to a series of spin-offs, hence a spin-off of the actual time and storyline. As you can see, other series of games have had thier share of lime light, spin-offs, and reprecussions (Mario Parties), but that don't mean that all spin-offs are bad. I think that we shoud give it a chance because you get to destroy metroids and space pirates... | |

The mario universe is retarded, and the characters have feet to push the pedals with. Samus is a good addition to the Smash Bros. series (OoC: I'm really irritated that the Smash Bros. forum is in the Mario section of VGF).. But she is not a pinball. That is disrespectul to the only entirely-serious game series Nintendo has ever made. ![]() |
