Your feigning ignorance will do you no good. I know who you really are. Only one person debates like you.... Mike Peters.

I didn't say I convinced anyone, I said that I proved that Zero Mission is not a remake. Your choice to deny the truth is yours, and I can't force you to believe the right way.
I also have never heard of anyone named Mike Peters. Sorry.

Actually, you have provided proof, on serval occasions, that you are wrong and that you're an idiot. Sorry, but I just post it like it is.

Oh, wait, you're a douche and therefore everything you say is rendered invalid. My bad.

</font>[/quote]That's a bold-face lie! You can't go anywhere in LA without seeing his name. In fact one of LA's most frequent members has the name MikePetersSucks. It's been almost a yeear or maybe longer since he was banned and people STILL talk about him there. He was hated there and he is hated here. If you're not him then you sure are following closely in his footsteps. If you don't want to suffer the same fate as he then I suggest you wise up.

Now that you mention it, I do remember the member named MikePetersSucks. Though I never saw anyone named Mike Peters there or any of his posts. Why did people hate him?

He was banned before the crash at LA.

People hated him because he was a pompous jerk who believed he was always right, even when proven wrong. He ignored facts that didn't he didn't with. Or he'll find some way to twist it around to better fit his own agenda. He also didn't respect other people's opinions and presented his own as fact but never gave any real solid evidence to back up his claims. What he used instead was false presumptions and scare tactics that lead some to believe his arguements were logical and the only right choice whren in fact, they were ilogical and completely irrational. And whenever a debate got too hot for him to handle he'll leave the debate, claiming he had won the whole thing.

He dissappeared to the Nintendo Forums many years back.

I faintly remember arguing with Mike Peters over Zelda. Or was that somebody just like him in the Zelda forum here? My mind is hazy.

Oh that was Mikey alright.

By the way, Dai, I don't know about the Metroid series but you'd agree that Zero Mission is still legitimately apart of the series right?

Of course it is. Its the very beginning.
So, what would Mike Peter debate? Zelda?
I don't think that my opinion is fact. I also regard what everyone else has to say. However, the only things that I believe are the facts.
I have noticed my new avatar, and I must say that I really like it a lot. Thank you.

That's a shame. Because as funny as these topics are, if that avatar got you to cease your infantile tirades and go find somebody else to bother, that wouldn't be so bad.

Even though we'd miss things like when you try to call the number of enemies in a room evidence, or basing a complete (and by complete I mean full of holes) theory on two (nondescript) words in Zero mission's opening text, or you comparing main characters getting killed to the differences in Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission, I doubt we'd miss it much. Quality (and by that I mean extremely poor quality) stuff.

You are truly the Metroid Gooroo, Dai Grepher.

Dai Grepher, how do you explain the two manual's background text being exactly the same? Zero Mission is obviously a retcon of Metroid 1. The storyline is changed, it's not just different, it's changed. The amount of change is irrelevant to it being a remake or not. Zero Mission replaces Metroid 1, meaning any ingame evidence in Metroid 1 is irrevevant. However, you can (and have) worked it into the storyline, and thats fine with me. However the offical timeline has already been posted by me and that's the one I, and most people go by.

Unless that word has another definition I'm not aware of, you're confusing your words. A retcon is a game (or possibly a movie or a book) whose events have been removed from the series' official storyline (games that are part of the official storyline are called "canon").

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

Actually that was a trick question. Apart means "split away from; separate." You said yes. So basically you said it wasn't part of the series.
