Sorry for the delay in following up with a request, but here are the two chapters of the official e-manga online. There used to be more, and translated, but at the moment I can't find the sources. I'll upload them sometime, though; it's all saved on my computer, with the terrible retro Metroid comics and other stuff. (Which I can upload later as well; someone remind me.) [img]tongue.gif[/img]

It is too bad that they are in Japanese. Good work finding these just the same though.

I think it's really neat how they animated that manga like that. It really adds too the emotions that you feel when seeing and reading it.

I tried to download it, but the site won't let me!!! I would have used the one I downloaded, along with all the stills that I downloaded, and recreated it in english!

EDIT: you need to download both the one without the swf file and the one with the swf file. You will get an html page from the link without the swf and the link with will get you the actual flash video.

EDIT2: I did what I said, and for some reason, after clicking start it stops suddenly without any reason why.

Volume 2 is all messed up in order in the translation (if you go to the flash you'll see that clearly). First she has the solitary talk with Bird Guy (while huddled up), then comes the whole meeting and trying to help the flying creatures, then comes the thingies' destruction, then finally the picture of her crying.

Alright, I ordered the manga some while ago; they finally came in today. It's really nice, as in it makes a passing mention to the X, goes about a good chunk of Samus' early years, and.... there's Adam! !!!

...I really like Adam, forgive me for the *squeee!!!*

There's a lot of text (which of course I can barely read anything of) but near the end there's like a good chunk of solid action and I believe that is how a Metroid game should really be mangafied. Mmm.

I'll scan the whole thing in sometime; I'm looking for someone to help translate. If you happen to know anyone who can translate Japanese... well, do tell! [img]tongue.gif[/img] Maybe we can get a full scanlation up.

Also, pages 1-8 on the site that both me and AI posted are actually supposed to be at the end of the comic, after the last page, in that order.
