| Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: I rub my tilde all over your asterisk Gender: Posts: 28,100 Thanks: 2,151 Thanked 5,338 Times in 2,433 Posts | Personally, I think giant kraid just owns everything, but the mainstays of the series aside - I think I most like the Crocmire from Super Metroid, or the Phantoon. They were some really spot-on designs. I love how the Crocmire dies in the lava, and you can watch the air bubbles from him moving to the left, and then his massive skeleton bursts through the westward wall. Then again, the Spore Spawn was pretty damn sweet, too ![]() ![]() If I had to settle on one from the entire series, I'd definitely go with the Crocmire. I think it's cool to play such a small character (especially because you were often in morph ball form) against such a huge enemy. I also liked how you had to use all the morph ball abilities to climb up it and destroy it. |
