| Guest Posts: n/a | Metroid (Zero Mission): Ridley is normal, but is killed by Samus. Or at least, presumably killed. There is also a mechanical Ridley at the very end of Zero Mission, a short time after Ridley was defeated. Metroid Prime: Ridley is on Tallon IV, but is now in a Meta form with some upgrades of sorts. Is this a clone or a revived version of the one from the first game? Super Metroid: Ridley is back, but in normal form again. Either this is the original Ridley again (and Meta is a clone) or vice versa. Metroid Fusion: Ridley is dead, but where did they get the body? Zebes was destroyed, so it would be impossible for them to get his corpse. Meta Ridley would probably be on Tallon IV still, so did they take him in... and if they did, what happened to the Meta upgrades? |

After being defeated on Tallon IV, the Federation took Meta Ridley's body, and cloned it, getting a normal Ridley again, which they proceded to put on B.S.L's space rig for research. Atleast, that's what I think. Metroid and Super Metroid Ridley are the same. Meta-Ridley is a clone of Ridley Ridley from MF is a clone of Meta Ridley minus the attachments because they weren't there to start. Visit the General Health Forum today! Macintosh. Otherwise, it would be blasphemy. *looks at Metroid II* ... You were always a black sheep anyways. |

Or perhaps they just cloned him. That makes as much sense. Wow. Even death doesn't stop Ridley. ^^ |

Just because there's no Ridley doesn't mean that it isn't a metroid...I think. Besides, the Omega Metroids were pretty cool. Visit the General Health Forum today! Macintosh. I have every single Metroid game and love them dearly. But you can't deny the fact that Metroid II is sort of the odd duck of the six. Omega Metroids = TEH UBER-DEATH!!111 |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I never could stand to play RoS for too long... perhaps that would be a good idea for them to do an updated version of it. ![]() |

| Guest Posts: n/a | RoS was my first, so I have a special place for it in my heart. I enjoyed that game immensely, though I too think it could benefit from a remake. And some extended gameplay too. (Though there would be only room for it at the beginning, consider Metroid 2 and Super Metroid take place one after another with little time elapsed between the two). |

| Guest Posts: n/a | The RIDLEY in Metroid was not RIDLEY from Super Metroid. The first one could be hurt with a regular ice beam or wave beam. This one was a weak type of RIDLEY's species, which might even be called the Ridley speices. Same with the first KRAID. The FAKE KRAID in Super Metroid was the same type as the one SAMUS killed in Metroid. The FAKE KRAID in Metroid was just an offshoot of the KRAID species. The giant KRAID, which is like the oldest or strongest of the species never dies. He merely sinks back deep into the depths of the planet Zebes to nurse the canker sores that SAMUS' missiles give him. The protection of Brinstar and KRAID's armor-like exterior allow him to survive the explosions that Zebes goes through. So the first RIDLEY was killed because it was a weaker type than the stronger line of RIDLEY in Zero Mission. I'll have to finish Zero Mission to see what happens to this RIDLEY. L is real |

| Guest Posts: n/a | No they're not. The game itself states that this was the first mission ever, not the first game. Metroid was the second mission, thus far, and Zero was the first. That's why they call it Zero Mission, because Metroid is number ONE. Get the concept? Cripes! L is real [ March 15, 2004, 11:21 PM: Message edited by: Luigi LXIV ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | OK, the RIDLEY in ZM dies, so the one in Super Metroid is a different one as well, and like the last two, this RIDLEY dies as well. If there are any in other games, they are either of the same species, or are clones of that species' DNA. [MLT'er logic]Every SAMUS in each game starts without any of the weapons from the last one, and the ruins show that whoever can beat the Chrozo Spirit can obtain the suit! This means that it must be a different SAMUS in each game! She might be reborn every millennia to fight against the Metroids, or a new heroine is chosen by the cosmos to fulfill the destiny of the Legendary Bounty Hunter! She had brown hair in Metroid, and blond in Super Metroid, so this pr00ves that SAMUS is TAH ChOZN 1!!!!!!! OMFG!!! TH3R3 R MULTIPLE SAMUSES AND TAH g@m3s take plac3 centuries apart, that's why Z3B3$ always l00ks different in each g@m3!!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!111 But it's the same RIDLEY, see he just gets resurrected by his minions because the games never say that he isn't immortal!!! OH YES! And the CR3@t0rs agree with this, they said so themselves in an interview!!! The Multiple SAMUS Theory has b33n PR00V3N rite!!!!!!!!!!!!!1[/MLT'er logic] L is real |
