But looking into the source image, it is a Medusa Jellyfish. Nifty, neh? A look into some images of them though and underwater they don't resemble metroids more than any other jellyfish does.

Yeah, I guess it's called a Medusa Jellyfish, but I was looking up the image based on body design, which for jellyfish is called the medusa. Eh, go fig. And I think that even in water they look like Metroids, just we're used to the 2D look...
