Beat super metroid again today..

My time was 4:03 and I had an 81% game. I made the bosses look patheticly easy. But i fought all of them for a second time after I got pretty much everything. How you ask? I'm making another topic on that.

The game is very easy after you've played as many times as I have.. I still enjoy all of it.

What AI said. I still have a little trouble on Phantoon, but that's just because, more than anything else, I hate him.

But yeah, to me, it's a game I can re-play over and over again. I'll have to do it again and see how fast I can go.

I tend to use custom controls over the game's default. I set it up so I can hold the R button to run, the Y button to fire, and B to jump. That seems to resolve the whole not-being-able-to-press-all-teh-buttons issues. Since then, I haven't had any trouble with any of the bosses or basically any other insane things I've wanted to do. For example; wall jumping is actually possible while you're holding the run button.

When I was younger, (aka when the game was released), the hardest thing to do in the game for me was the space jump. Also, without the secret technique to kill the Draygon, that thing still kicks my ass.

Haven't played it for a-g-e-s...

I always had problems doing the bouncing off walls, stuff (and still do, *turns to PoP and shakes fist*).

Oh, and Phantoon was easy.

Heh, oops. Total brain malfunction, I meant the Draygon, the Maridia boss.

Ah yes, that guy. I found out the masochism trick by accident, believe it or not. Haven't tried it differently since.

Yeah. It really helps just to destroy the wall cannons, in general. Otherwise, they're a serious hazard.
