Awesome Super Metroid glitch *BIG spoilers*

A lot of you people at this forum know super metroid a lot more than most other people, but there is this one glitch you can do in the game, which allows you to completely restart the game withough losing any weapons at all. In order to do it, you must have: all beams and Power Bombs. Simply go to the bottom of the escape shaft from the original metroid, and use a power bomb to open up the door. Enter it like such, and then equip all of your beams at once. To do this, you must equip the Spazer, then highlight the Speed Booster, then flip left on the Control Pad, and press the A button immediately after you go left on the screen. The leters VAR should appear next to the plasma beam. Turn around so you are right next to the door. You have to be facing it. Fire your beam (make sure you DO NOT have the wave beam ready. Then the blast will go through the door Instead of opening It, ruining the process.) Then, with all beams except the Wave beam Equipped (See right above for why) A black explosion thing will be seen, but the door will open. turn around and fire again. The game will crash momentarily and go really slow. But you should still be able to enter the door. The game will go back to normal speed, and if the room behind you is foggy, then Congrats. You've just restarted your game. Now kill everyone with all your beams.

(Edit: You have to change your beams to normal before anything else though. Also note that you must leave the room first, then change your beams to normal, then your on your merry old way to boss ownage.
