Aparantly, 20 years prior to the events of MP3 the federation created a living Super Computer called the Aurora and since then they've made alot more for military, scientific, and other fields of profession. these things, well the one I saw, looked like a giant brain in a jar. anyway on a starship called the valhalla there was an aroura unit coded as Aurora-313. Valhalla was attacked by Space Pirates and the only thing that they stole was Aurora-313. which brings me to my point, aurora-313 is Mother Brain! |

It's likely that MB is copied off of Aurora-313. They are Space PIRATES. |

It would be an interesting tie-in, if nothing else. Over all, I'd rather think that the Space Pirates were responsible for the Mother Brain with no outside influence. I mean, I'm the first to reference the concept to Hal 9000, but I don't think it's necessary to web it all together after the fact.. |

Also, in one of the Prime Preview channel movies about Aurora projects, the room where it's stored is remarkably similar to that of Mother Brain's lair area. |
